Morgan Charles is a writer and editor based in Ottawa. Her writing has appeared in The Ex-Puritan, The Malahat Review, EVENT, The Fiddlehead, Today’s Parent, and Reader’s Digest. Her essay “Plagued” was nominated for a 2021 National Magazine Award. She holds a PhD in Communication Studies from McGill University, where she wrote a dissertation about Montreal’s crumbling concrete. She is currently completing her MFA in the University of British Columbia’s Creative Writing Optional Residency Program.
